Dermal Fillers

Our nursing foot‑care service begins with a thorough consultation and assessment of your lower limbs and medical history to create an individualized care plan. Treatments include nail trimming and filing, callus and corn reduction, management of ingrown nails and fungal infections, and a moisturizing lower‑leg and foot rub to promote healthy skin. Foot Care Nursing Training
Next Step Vitality is a Licensed Education Provider for Foot Canada Training. Brette Cain leads Foot Canada Training’s foot‑care clinical program for nurses in the Atikokan–Fort Frances–Thunder Bay region, delivering in‑person instruction based on Foot Canada’s curriculum and the national competencies of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses. The course offers 43 hours of hands‑on clinical practice that focuses on advanced and diabetic foot care. Participants gain practical skills, evidence‑based knowledge and mentorship to confidently provide professional foot‑care services.
About Next Step Vitality
For nearly a decade, Next Step Foot Care has been a trusted provider of basic, advanced and diabetic foot care in Northwestern Ontario. Founded in Atikokan by Brette Cain, a Registered Practical Nurse, our practice grew out of a desire to fill a gap in local healthcare. Brette began her career as a Personal Support Worker and later earned her Practical Nursing diploma with honours. Recognizing a critical need for specialized foot care, she completed the Foot Care Nurse Program in 2016 and assembled a dedicated team, building a mobile and in‑clinic practice committed to keeping feet healthy. Our clinics adhere to strict sterilization and infection‑control protocols and we are proud members of the Canadian Association for Foot Care Nurses. We also travel to remote communities to deliver essential care.
